BOOK REVIEW: Percy Jackson And The Last Olympian

Dear cousin Eli,

I just read Percy Jackson And The Last Olympian. It’s about a seventeen year old child named Percy Jackson. He is trying to save the world by defeating an evil titan named Krones. There is a whole series! There are five books, The Lightning Thief, The Sea Of Monsters, The Titans Curse, The Battle Of The Labyrinth, (which I think is the best), and finally The Last Olympian.

When I read, I like to pretend that I’m in the book because it makes reading so much more fun. I read for about one hour a day. I also read fluently and with a lot of expression so it makes everything you’re reading exciting!

How long do you like to read? What do you like to do when you read? Do you like to pretend you’re in the book, too? Reading is my favorite subject. How about you? I can’t wait to hear from you.

BOOK REVIEW: Harry Potter and the Cursed Child by J.K. Rowling

I am recommending Harry Potter and the Cursed Child by J.K. Rowling. It is about two twelve year old boys named Albus Potter and Scorpios Malfoy. They try to save Cedric Diggory by using a time turner and going back into the past so he doesn’t get killed by Voldemort. On their first attempt they fail. On their second attempt they accidentally go to one of the worst times in the past.

I like the book because I like fantasy. Another reason I like the book is that the book makes you feel a lot of different emotions like fear, nervousness, exhilaration, anger, relief, and probably many more. For example, I felt relieved when Albus and Scorpios get saved by Harry, Hermione, Ron, and Draco.

Another example, is when I felt nervous when Albus went into Slytherin house. I predicted that everyone would be talking about a Potter being in Slytherin because the famous Harry Potter, Albus’ dad, was in Gryffindor. I hope you read it and love it as much as I do.
